STREAT is a social enterprise providing homeless youth with a supported pathway to long-term careers in the hospitality industry. This site is STREAT’s digital story telling platform and home to all things creative. It’s the place where STREAT’s young people get to creatively find their voice and tell their street stories through a range of media including photography, writing, illustration, texting, music, sound and video. These stories will be a poignant montage both simple and complex, sad and joyous. They will not only show the harsh realities of street life, but the resourcefulness, resilience and optimism of these youth.

It’s also a space to showcase our creative collaborations.

With the assistance of a grant from the City of Melbourne we are excited to present our first creative collaboration during the State of Design Festival 2011 – Home STREAT Home a Guided Walking Tour & Art Exhibition.
